Sci-Fi costumes often have their own unique challenges, the kind we love to solve. Many of the Global Effects crew have acting and directing experience giving us an in-depth understanding of on-set pressures. Our goal is to design, build and rent costumes that contribute to a production running smoothly. 

In 2005 the body armor for “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” was already designed when Global Effects was given the assignment. In order for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie to make the extreme moves the script called for we made small, invisible changes in the design that gave the stars much improved mobility. Details Matter.

No Sci-Fi or fantasy costume is complete without the perfect accessory. The 2017 hit “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle” found just the right accessories and clothes among our huge selection for an entire market scene and to add the finishing touches on the stars costumes.
